MATH: Algebra 1 students will be solving compound inequalities next week. Pre-Algebra students will be writing fractions as decimals and vice versa. General Math students will be simplifying fractions.
SOCIAL STUDIES: In Civics we will continue studying the different roles of the presidency. Geography students will begin a unit over Europe.
SCIENCE: The 8th graders will continue working on their Science presentations, they are due on Tuesday. The 7th graders will continue learning about plant reproduction.
SPELLING: We will be working on review assignments in spelling next week, we will not be having a test.
RELIGION: The 8th graders will be learning about Saints and the 7th graders will be learning about the first disciple.
I will not be sending a folder home next week due to the short week. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

NEWSLETTER, 11/12/10
MATH: Pre-Algebra students will be having a test over Chapter 4, Factors and Fractions, on Thursday. Algebra 1 students will be working with inequalities. General Math students will be working with factor trees.
SOCIAL STUDIES: In Geography next week students will begin a project that deals with different South American countries. Civics students will be learning about the roles of the President and Vice President.
SCIENCE: The 8th graders will have a test over Chapter 6, Structure and Movement, on Wednesday. They will then begin working on a project that deals with nutrition. The 7th graders will be learning about plant reproduction.
RELIGION: The 8th graders will be learning about the magisterium next week. The 7th graders will be learning about the Sacrament of Matrimony.
SPELLING: We will be on Unit 14, words can be found on pg. 90.

7th and 8th Grade News 11/05/10
There will be an Algebra 1 Test over Chapter 4 on Friday. The 7th graders will be having a test in Science and Geography on Friday. Both tests will cover Chapter 8. The 8th graders will have a test over Chapter 6 on Friday. Due to back to back four day weeks, we will not have a spelling test this week.
